White Periwinkle era

La, la, la, la, take me home

Office of Creative Space

Independent arts communities that value and prioritize marginalized people – their humanity, their creativity and their labour. I am dedicated to ensuring every Toronto artist can have a livelihood rooted in their unique practice, and to taking action to ease the struggles of creative workers.

This iniative follows through on the 20+ year saga of TMAC's grassroots organizing to secure permanent space for artists working in video, film and games in West Queen West.

Along with some amazing collaborators, I am working on a new (but inspired!) model for community-owned, artist-stewarded creative spaces for communities to live, work, learn and thrive in a network across the City of Toronto.
